Album measuring 16 x 24 cm, containing 48 original private photographs (6 x 8.5 cm) and 6 official team and game photographs (9 x 14 cm), including a team photograph with all players and officials identified by name and two action shots from the first test played at Dunedin. The private photographs include , a coutry scene at Mr G. Jamieson’s residence,, group photographs taken at Mount Egmont, Napier, Dunedin, WhangareySt Kevin’s College, Oamaru, Lewis PassNew Plymouth, Buller Pass. group photographs of the Maori Girls Basketball team (also one with Australian rugby players)These are followed by a group photogrpah of the All Blacks at training in Dunedin, the Australian High Commissioner Arthur Cutler being introduced to the Austraian team. The larger photogrpahs that follow shoe the two teams before the 1st test at Dunedin and two action shots from the game. A further group photograph shows the Australian and North Auckland teams (Palmer, Whangarei), the first of eight matches played during the tour. There are also 6 bought captioned tourist photographs. Five photographs dated from Toowoomba 1935 at the end. Loosely inserted is another team photograph with stamp of Wellington photographer, as well as four further photographs (2 from England dated 1946). * A superb photograph album documenting official and private activities during the Wallabies’ 1946 tour of New Zealand.
